Description
A synthetic pier made from polystyrene and finished with a polyurethane hardcoat in a sand textured finish and which includes silver powder coated front and back plates with a latch lock rear door. Size 830mm high x 470mm Wide x 370mm deep and designed to take A4 size mail and available with an optional newspaper tube.
Thousands of maiboxes of this style are installed in high volume residential developments across Australia. For installation these are to be buried in concrete rising up at least 50mm over the mailbox base step. It is recommended that this edge be rounded off or have an arris trowelled on it and that if this mailbox is placed in an open lawn that this edge will be a mower/ whipper snipper edge.
These mailboxes are often installed within garden beds which then offers the mailbox more protection from accidental impact. In the event that they are damaged and the damage is with reason it can be easily repaired using Sika Filler One Strike Maxi or similar (available from most hardware stores).
